Yummy waffle recipe

Well, well, I am mostly trying to give C something healthy to eat without too much sugar or fat but from time to time it needs to be something “not so healthy” as well. I found this super cool looking waffle maker at a drugstore close by and I totally fell in love with this pink diamond design. As a Belgian my husband loves waffles and I still remember my mom making them for us. So it was about time to try some recipes and here is my favorite one.

  • 50g sugar
  • 150g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 300g natural yogurt
  • 400g flower
  • 1 package baking soda
  • 300ml water

Blend sugar and butter with the milk until it is a fluffy mixture. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix it all until the dough had a smooth consistency. After heating up your waffle maker bake waffle by waffle and enjoy them warm or cold.

We mostly have them with powder sugar or self made apple puree or both. What is your favorite version of waffles – with cream, chocolate sauce or pure?

  1. Yum! I love waffles and these ones look great. Apple puree sounds like a great addition. I’m a big fan of pure maple syrup.
